I experience the frustration too, but the remedy always seems to be the same

I’m always failing either because I’m neglecting a mechanical detail which breaks the process, or because I’m simply not practicing the right balance of frequency and overall time to master it

if you practice enough, you can ignore more of the details, but it takes longer to master something

and if you aren’t practicing enough, your nervous system isn’t efficient enough to allow for you to get the execution to your liking

either because the positioning is unnatural, inhibiting power and trajectory.. even failing to hit the position in the end, or because the spacial sequence isn’t fully formed in the mind (the linear steps, so to speak)

I can sort of make a guess as to which issue describes the most immediate area impeding me from the given goal (playing something correctly), but sometimes it’s good to think about each of them when I get frustrated, because it frees me from some of the automatic thought processes which will otherwise distract me
